In 2019, we launched NVMO with a simple idea: give people the ability to use phone numbers without giving away their real identity. We built relationships with carriers across Europe and beyond, provisioned millions of numbers, and learned exactly how telecommunications infrastructure works — and where it fails.

As AI voice technology exploded in 2023–2024, we saw something new: developers building voice AI agents who needed telephony infrastructure that simply didn't exist. Standard CPaaS providers were built for the SMS-first era. They weren't designed for the latency requirements, concurrency patterns, or provisioning speed that AI voice demanded.

So we built it. We rebuilt our infrastructure from the ground up for sub-50ms media latency, instant number provisioning, and the API simplicity that developers actually want. CloudVNO is that platform.
